Bin Laden Says He Ordered 9/11 Attacks

“Bin Laden suggested Bush was slow to react to the Sept. 11 attacks, giving the hijackers more time than they expected. At the time of the attacks, the president was listening to schoolchildren in Florida reading a book.

“It never occurred to us that the commander-in-chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his citizens in the two towers to face these horrors alone,” he said, referring to the number of people who worked at the World Trade Center.

“It appeared to him (Bush) that a little girl’s talk about her goat and its butting was more important than the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers. That gave us three times the required time to carry out the operations, thank God,” he said. ”

None of this surprises me. Osama is not stupid and is very specific in the messages he sends. They all have a design and purpose. This is further proof that he is not isolated or removed from the media as he parrots comments made about Bush. Need I remind you that it was Michael Moore who pushed this angle first.

As for my own interpretation, here is what he hopes to achieve with this note:

1) He wants to be a modern Saladin to Muslims and will use this as a recruitment video.

2) He wants to taunt Bush.

3) He is trying to instill fear and terror in America.

None of those are profound, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention them.

The second reference in osama’s message is more in line with AQ’s agenda. He and his organization desire to scare away all occupation in the middle-east. If the west, with the US on the forefront, removes it troops out of iraq and cut the ties with the saudi monarchy, the terrorist attacks will cease. That is also in line with his sentence ‘why do you think sweden doesn’t get attacked’? I think that overall your comment makes a lot of sense, but I still don’t think that we are getting the full picture of what his goals are.

I just hope Bush is out of there on Tuesday. The world is watching the US and we’re hoping Americans have awakened to what the rest of the world already knew before 9/11. Osama wanted the US out of the Middle East and Bush was warned long before 9/11.

So can I count on your vote for Kerry?? SMILE!! Maggie

It’s apparent osama also attempts to divide ‘the west’. He tries to isolate the US in foreign relations and polarize it’s domestic society.

When he said that during the attacks of ’emir mohammed atta’ the ‘supreme commander of the american armed forces’ was busy reading children’s stories instead of running to the rescue, osama tries to conceive an image of a president that is incompetent and uncaring.

That is ofcourse rethoric nonsens as the military, security agencies, law enforcement, firefighters and the highest segments of government were already on site in the crisis zone.

Also anybody who had seen the expression on bush’ face when he was informed about the impact knows he was absolutely shocked in disbelief. Just like almost everybody else was during the attacks. This is also abused by moore in his documentary when he concludes bush rather hangs around in kindergarten than taking control of the situation. Like i said, the expression on bush’ face demonstrated that he was overwhelmed and there really wasn’t anything he could have done during that time anyway. Unfortunately bush lost all of his credit by invading iraq under false pretenses.

It just seems like he has watched a Michael Moore movie or two!

And UBL mentioned Bush reading the book to the little girl that discussed feeding goats while “50,000” people were in a burning inferno (or whatever)… As compared to this freak, this shows humanity, which is absent in UBL… if you take a holistic view of what he represents.
