    G’Day Jack,

I believe that the citizens of any country should be free to celebrate their national day in any way that befits them. And I understand that Irving Berlin was embarrassed at the commercial success of his “God Bless America..” Even he thought it was bit “over the top”

In the true spirit of the US/ Australian Alliance, permit me to say, “Come back Irving. All is forgiven.”

Could the Brits possibly have known what they were starting. At least they cast us adrift without a stoush.

    Best Wishes

    Leon

These are my two favorite “comical” versions. Had I been serious Jimi would receive top billing.

I’ll give you Enrico Palazzo, but no Hendrix? 🙂
