I came up with a simple and effective way to prevent identity theft. This evening while paying bills I basically emptied our checkbook, which to my way of thinking should be an effective deterrent to stealing my identity.

I actually stole this identity. The one I had previously lacked a certain “je ne c’est quoi”.
Now that’s an idea. I’m paying bills, too. It sucks.
