This really bothers me. Jeb Bush’s efforts to subvert the law and adapt things to fit his tiny little worldview were defeated by the courts so now he is out to get Michael Schiavo.
In a letter faxed to Pinellas-Pasco County State Attorney Bernie McCabe, Bush said Michael Schiavo testified in a 1992 medical malpractice trial that he found his wife collapsed at 5 a.m. on Feb. 25, 1990, and he said in a 2003 television interview that he found her about 4:30 a.m. He called 911 at 5:40 a.m.
“Between 40 and 70 minutes elapsed before the call was made, and I am aware of no explanation for the delay,” Bush wrote. “In light of this new information, I urge you to take a fresh look at this case without any preconceptions as to the outcome.”
This is just ridiculous. This is pure partisan pandering and petulant behavior on his part, especially in light of the autopsy that proved that she would never have recovered or improved whatsoever.
Give both sides some peace and the opportunity to try and heal.
You’re right Jack…the autopsy DID show this.
I find it quite hypocritical and actually slightly typical (which is sad) coming from a party line which says that wasteful cases back up court dockets. If this isn’t wasteful, I don’t know what is. I hope MIke Schiavo sues them right back for harassment.
And the autopsy showed that she was strangled or abused before her fall.
I thought that the autopsy showed that this had not happened.
And the autopsy showed that she was strangled or abused before her fall.
What else should we expect from a petty and vindictive man, who is just like his brother.
