Should I be concerned with how irritated I was at losing four consecutive games of Candyland to a boy who is just a hair short of five.

I can’t stand seeing “definately” and I see it almost daily. Grrr.
yes – be upset. I finally won at Candyland last month against my 6 year old neice for the 1st time in my life…and I’m 42! I did the much deserved victory dance all through the house.
MP,
That is good advice.
I don’t think you should be concerned until your start cheating to beat a five year old.

My youngest has also been playing JUNIOR MONOPOLY for about the past 1 1/2 years with his older siblings or my husband and I. Maybe your little guy would like that…
Recently we got Junior Trivial Pursuit. He gets right into that game, too. (Multiple-choice answers)
And then we also play basic card games or Foozball.
I have lost more times than I care to count in all games that I play with my youngest. But it’s well worth it when I watch the glee on his face when he declares himself the winner!
We already did Chutes and Ladders, so it is Candyland.
Pear,
I have seen Kosherland, but never played it.
Jack,
My five-year-old received a gift – the game KOSHERLAND, a Jewish twist on Candyland. It’s rather cute and fun to play.
May be time for a change…
I am so Candylanded out! Thank goodness my daughter is now out of that phase and into Chutes and Ladders. At least that is numbers and it’s so fun climbing those ladders.
