I decided to watch American Inventor, thanks TIVO. There are some very interesting ideas for new inventions. This show proves that for all of our similarities as people there are some striking differences in how we view the world.
I’ll keep watching for a while and see how it goes.

The sand bag shovel was a smart idea. That inventor guy looks like Wallace Shawn. I kept waiting for him to say “inconceivable!”
It was a little melodramatic, but it was kind of fun.
I tried to watch it, but it was so darn melodramatic. The heavy music, the drama, just a little too over the top.
Oh well, seemed like a good idea for a show – maybe I’ll try it again next time its on.
My husband and I watched it too. I really think the Sand Bag shovel will do really well. It’s one of those inventions that make you scratch your head and wonder why noone else has thought of it. I also really like the gym in the bag idea.
