    PT,

    It is pretty cool.

    Rebecca,

They weren’t still on when you were younger?

    Judi,

    My pleasure.

    SI,

    My kids love the DVDs.

    EK,

It is a good feeling isn’t it.

We bought my kids the DVD – it still rocks after all these years and they love it!

“Interjection!” (ouch!) will always be my favorite. And I can still sing the whole Preamble to the Constitution.

I have the DVD’s and I’ve seen the live show too – and I don’t even have kids (yet)… and I guess now it looks like I have to go find the tribute CD 🙂

    thanks for the post

Thanks for posting those. My favorites were the 4-legged zoo and naughty number nine. I guess I was a weird kid.

I learned all my grammar from schoolhouse rock.

I LOVE it! We actually have a CD that came out while we were cool newlyweds – “SchoolHouse Rock Rocks!” It’s a “tribute” album with covers of all the old songs by grunge-era bands. Let me tell you – you’ve never heard “Conjunction Junction” until you’ve heard Better Than Ezra’s version! Our kids love it, and we plan on taking them to see “SchoolHouse Rock Live” pretty soon.

I have to admit, I still sing a few of them to remember things. They were awesome. My fave? “I’m just a bill” – such a GREAT song. Those songs were how I learned the preamble to the Constitution (which I can still sing today!)
