Will Bush be Kerryied?

The answer seems to be yes. Bush will be “Kerryied” to the finish line by a candidate who is having a terrible time articulating his thoughts and goals. The message he is sending is getting lost in the mess, yes the MESSage is horrible.

Actually I think that he probably has more to say than what I have been hearing and reading, but it is hard to distinguish it. There is so much garbage out there that is tying up the airwaves. I don’t feel like I have heard him give me anything that I can hold onto. Nothing sticks, I have little to no confidence in him.

Bush is not much better, he doesn’t answer questions and just diddles around. But, the one thing that you can feel coming from him is that he is confident and resolute in his position. Now those are solid traits to have, but they are not always good. If you are executing bad policy and making mistakes you need to be able to adjust and go a different direction. I don’t see that right now.

You know what would be really interesting to see, but very unlikely is this. Bush holds a press conference during which he apologizes for making some mistakes. He explains that we got stuck with bad intelligence and that led to our going into Iraq. He really is sorry, but he was acting in our best interests and did so based on that bad intelligence.

Now that we are where we are, the following is going to take place. We are taking the appropriate steps to repair the problems with the intelligence world and we are working on a plan to restore order in Iraq and anticipate that it will take X number of years.

I don’t expect this to happen, and if it did I wouldn’t expect it to fix all of the issues and problems. But I suspect that it would pull a lot people into supporting the admin and end some of the partisanship. Who knows, maybe it wouldn’t. But what do you expect from 3 minutes of banging on the keyboard. 😉

All of the BS does cloud things up so you cant tell what they are really saying this is how the spinmeisters want as neither of these men is steller on the issues.

I wish Pres Bush would firmly take a hold of the “we broke we bought it.” policy… Yes the intel was off, but Iraq is loads better off with this than Saddam. Fewer people are going to mass graves ect. Just say Yeah, we could have done things differently but here we are and this is what we are going to do. Hes actually a nice man resolute and means what he says. People would accept a honest reply and a meaninful gesture.
