Women Say Kerry Should Have Wooed Them
Headlines play such a major role in perception. Is it just me or does this come across as being demeaning to women. The point seems to be that if only John Kerry paid attention to women they would have voted for him.
It doesn’t give them any credit for independent thought. Maybe that is just my own perception.
P.S. Arafat is still dead.

Hi Jeanne. How are things?
JJ,
Just saw this headline on CNN:
Palestinians plan Arafat funeral

Um, it’s not just you. That headline is demeaning. It completely dismisses the serious content in the article below. Grrr.
I read somewhere recently a comment about how women don’t watch the Sunday morning political blah blah shows, either, which got me mad. Well, fiddle dee dee, it’s because all that politics makes my widdle head huwt.

Ridiculous. I care nothing for lip service. Actions speak louder than words and his record told me everything I needed to know.

Bill Clinton wooed women and it nearly got him impeached. Now women wish that Kerry did that, too? Forget Kerry, I’ll volunteer if they promise to follow through. 🙂

Hi Jack,
It’s been awhile, I hope you and the family are doing well.
As for Kerry wooing women, sorry but nothing would have worked for me. I just didn’t agree with some of his politics and that wasn’t going to change.
What’s the deal with Arafat ? Is he dead , in a coma or what ? Are they trying to keep his death a secret ?
I have to wonder.

That last line makes me smile. I’m not so sure any more…
