” WASHINGTON – The Bush administration on Wednesday urged the Supreme Court to allow Ten Commandments displays on government property, adding a federal view on a major church-state case that justices will deal with early next year.”
Stick to fighting terrorism Georgie and keep your nose out of the Constitution. I am none too comfortable with this kind of thing. It reeks of so many ills.

BB,
I suspect that most people don’t know that there are different versions, just one more complication in this mess.
Interesting question is which version do they want to display? Protestant, Catholic or Jewish? I have no problem if they put up all 3 and I have no problem if an individual official puts up a personal display of his/her choosing in his/her office. But to put up something that is accepted by only some religions (and specifically rejected by others) in the public areas of government property I find a bit problematic.
Thanks Vince, I’ll take a look.
Jack, you should check out the Rude Pundit (rudepundit dot blogspot dot com) today on this topic. He’s been doing a whole series on “Christ Weariness.”
