Rudy T Resigns- In Comes Phil to save The Lakers

Yes folks, it is official, Rudy T. has resigned as coach of the Lakers. And just to say I told you so, let me say that I told Bob, Marc and Paul yesterday that Phil Jackson’s name would be floated as the successor to Rudy T.

This is the chance for Dr. Buss to repair the giant mistake he made last year when he let Shaq and Phil go. It won’t be perfect, but it will go a long way with fans and players. As for the likelihood of this happening, I think that it really depends on how much money they throw at Phil.

His departure was not real smooth and it will take some doing to bring him back in, but I am confident that it can be done. And if Jack says it can be done, well you can take that to the bank. But I wouldn’t try cashing that check until next week, because payday is on Friday.

The only hope is for Kobe to break his back.
