It also has to do with expectations. Guys who sleep with more women are studs, women who sleep with more guys are sluts, etc. It may not be conscious, but it would at least account for the different methods that each uses to come up with their wrong numbers.
I know a true exact number…but I am a geek, so it’s not like I’ve got around much in life. Heh.

I never lie about it, I just use very loose criteria to count as “sex”.
