Shola Still Wants to Work With Me

It appears that my good friend Shola wishes to continue to work with me. The story begins here and then continues here and here.

Late last night I received a new email from Shola with a copy of his International Passport and the following message.

Dear Jack

I’m most grateful for your mail, I seize this
opportunity to thank you for coming to my asistant ,
also let you know that this transaction is a straight
forward and legal transaction. I am somebody with a
conscience. If this transaction was in any way
illegal, I would tell you straight away so that you
know what is involved and decide for yourself. But it
is not like that at all, and you will later see and
understand that.
I hope you were not too embarrassed by email to you
since I did not answer your questions.

I didn’t know how much amount (%)we will dispatched
to charity organizations, so I resulted to putting
fate to test and making a random contact.

I have decided to give alms to charity organizations
and churches from your questions, as I want this to
be one of the last good deeds I do on earth It is for
this reasons I am sending my International Pasport,

Your assistance to stand as the next of kin to the
fund and retrieve it without any itch All the
necessary informations required to get the Funds out
of the Bank firm are in their possession and I will be
sending them to you if needed by the bank.

Please Not. I need you to give me your words that you
will be very honest and straight forward with me when
the money gets to you, So long as you can execute this
transaction successfully and help me Thus, I would
need you to get back to me on the following issues,

(1) I hope you are in a position to be trusted as a
God fearing person as you stated and you will send
some pentage will be dispatched it to charity
organization as you said.Plesea you can fill the firm
and send it through attachment to the bank, please I
need your cell phone number or you call me as well

I Look forward to your earliest reply thanks.
May God be with you.
Shola Rhodes

I have not replied to this note as I have not yet decided whether I wish to keep this going on any longer. I’ll keep you all posted as to how things develop.

I think he liked the picture of you in the frog suit. I must say, quite fetching.

I agree with stepima that you’ve got to keep this going! But he absolutely must answer your questions.

    Great entertainment!

    Well, here’s what I think:

You gave him a very clear list of questions, which he ignored twice.

Meanwhile, he gave you a very clear list of financial needs, which you ignored.

So, you are at an impasse.

But he clearly needs you more than you need him. And since we need him for the extra entertainment value (well, maybe not need, but I certainly am tuning in repeatedly…)

so I say, throw him a bone.

Tell him you’ve set up the bank account and you’ve got everything waiting. You’re 100% ready.

But now he has to answer your questions or you won’t allow the transfer.

    No answers, no transfers.

    So Shola, about that woodchuck…

He certainly placed a lot of importance on trust!
You think his emails are automatically generated?

  6. Air Time February 23, 2006 at 4:14 pm

I vote for keeping it going.

As a sacrifice to the church of the treefrog I offer you todays AirTime post, More Fun Zoo Quotes, to implore you to keep this going.
