Fake Photos Continued

The photo scandal that we wrote about here and here appears to be expanding. You can see a number of examples of this here.

In short the media manipulation is in full force and the disappointing news is that there are some real questions about how much effort the media is putting in to verify that these photos are real and accurate.

The sad truth is that the photo manipulation story detracts unnecessarily from what, in reality, is still a very real human tragedy.

    RR,

    I hear you.

    BW,

Accountability is unfortuntately tough to come by. I hope that those that are complicit in this are forced to choose new professions.

The falsification of the photos goes hand in hand with the overt bias of the reporting.

I personally believe these news outlets should be held accountable up to and including fines and jail terms for the mass misleading of the public. The public has a due expectation, and rightfully so as the freedom of the press is guaranteed by the First Amendment, to expect fair, honest and unbiased reporting of the facts of world events and events that affect large masses, especially as concern peace and safety.

Why would they bother verifying them? The result might be that the Evil Jews would come out looking less evil. Nope, can’t let that happen!
