"When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'." Groucho Marx
Too funny…I just watched “Serendipity” this weekend. And anytime I have ever mentioned this movie, no one has heard of it.
Bring John Malkovich is another one that not a whole lot in my circle of friends have seen – it’s such a bizarre movie – love it, but it is so bizarre.
Elie used to debate which was better, Better off Dead or One Crazy Summer the two John Cusack/ Savage Steve Holland masterpieces. I preferred Better off Dead; he prefers One Crazy Summer.
I really liked Serendipity except … So it’s OK to break your engagement just because fate intervenes? (It was also interesting because his fiance was a sweetheart; hers was a selfish boor.)

One Crazy Summer was ok, but IMO it doesn’t match Better Off Dead.
As for Serendipity, well besheret, is besheret. 🙂
Funky,
Me too.
LT,
Nah, One Crazy Summer just doesn’t do it for me. Pushing Tin was ok. I didn’t see Identity.
RR,
He played one of the geeks in a bit role. Good movie, but I am really thinking of movies where he was the leading man.

Does “Sixteen Candles” count?

You’re totally missing One Crazy Summer! That’s classic Cusack right there.
Another good one: Pushing Tin.
I want to say Identity, but as great a movie as it was, it’s not one I can watch again and again. It was too intense!
