I bet that he has some great stories to tell. We owe your dad and his fellow soldiers a lot.
My dad was there. 101st Airborne. I don’t know too much about it, though, because he’s never been willing to talk too much about his experiences. I can tell you that he has a purple heart, and watches Patton every time it comes on because he “saved our asses”, as dad puts it.
