Former Marine Subdues Man on Flight

Not only does this story have a happy ending, it has a bit of humor to it. His wife was more interested in finishing her book than watching her husband in action.

“The woman sitting in front of us was very upset and asked me how I could just sit there reading,” Katie Hayden said. “Bob’s been shot at. He’s been stabbed. He’s taken knives away. He knows how to handle those situations. I figured he would go up there and step on somebody’s neck, and that would be the end of it. I knew how that situation would end. I didn’t know how the book would end.”

Oh marine wives. I like that he would end it by “stepping on someone’s neck.”

I love how she knows her husband so well to just let him “go do his thing” and know he will be able to handle it and will be okay…that is so funny and great to me, not that something couldn’t have gone terribly wrong of course, but still…that was fabulous.
