These are pictures of my future. I want this…badly. It is a personal thing, a goal, an accomplishment that is for myself and my kids. It is on my bucket list, but I also want it because the children need to see what can happen when you set big goals.
I tell them to dream big and to get those dreams. Live your dream, don’t dream your life.

I have never run a marathon. I have walked/hiked it and then some- but that was years ago. Now I am interested because of what it offers. We'll see, step by step.

Oh, I don't know about that. Walking across the US would have its share of pain.

What an incredible goal. I am not an athlete. At all. But when I was 34, I ran AND COMPLETED a marathon. It remains one of the proudest moments of my life.
I have not run a single step since 😉

There was a time that I wanted to do an Iron Man. But, then I just decided it wasn't of high enough priority to give a second thought. I think if I was going to do some really freakish type even it would involve walking across the US or something like that. Much longer, but not so shockingly painful as an Iron-Man 🙂
