I have only been doing this for a short time. From what I can decipher many bloggers will do ANYTHING for attention. One is example is what’s called HNT?!?! Wha? I find it interesting that these are mom and dad blogs. Their kids must be so proud?

I write for the enjoyment and learning. If I get hits awesome, if not then so be it. I have no idea the number of readers I have, or how many people visit my site. I just attempt to keep it real. And engagement is big, I respond to ever post that I get.

I think that people forget that none of us are truly anonymous online. We leave bits and pieces of ourselves all over the place. Not to mention that we don’t always consider who might have access to our blogs.

After seven years of this I have more than ten thousand posts on a host of topics. I can’t say that my family won’t be embarrassed or upset by things that I have written. I don’t expect it, but I can’t say that I would be totally shocked by it either.

It also reminds me that my children are reaching ages where I need to think about whether it is fair to share some of these stories.

Jack, Jack, Jack… I know my eyes are bleary but… where’s the link to your posts that you reference? (Okay, if it’s my eyes or worse, waning brain cells, I’ll need to give up my wild 1 glass of wine/week ways…)

I remember the 5 secrets post from before. Great tips. I need to interact more. It seems to be the one thing that I fail at.

You are pretty active. I can think of a number of bloggers who fall short at this- myself included.
