Tools For Increasing Engagement
I am jammed for time so this is going to be a hit and run post. If things work as I hope you should see a media player below containing a very short podcast that touches upon Postmatic and the blog as well as me promising to provide a written update here ASAP.
I don’t know if the media will work within the Postmatic emails that the subscribers here receive so the only way to listen might be by coming to the blog.
I understand if you don’t make it over for that but I do have a favor to ask. I am interested in hearing from you regarding the content here and whether you have a preference regarding the topics covered.
If you do, I’d love for you to share it within the comments.
Thanks, and I’ll see you here later on today when I stop running.
P.S. If you want to learn more aboutPostmatic you can check out It Is What Every Blogger Wants.
P.P.S. I am proud of Life Is About Painting A Picture and How Do You Catch A Dragon? Feel free to check those out too.

FYI – doesn’t play on email – link goes to audioboom. 🙂

Thank you. I need to remember that those who receive the email may not have the ability to work with the multimedia files.

I’m interested in reading more about your productivity and time management. The various tools you are using and how you measure success and reaching your goals (do you set specific goals, and are you using any methods to reach them?).

I’ll see about putting together a post on that.

That would be awesome

Hey Jack,
On my iPhone, the post a link in it, which I clicked and was brought to an audio player. I think looked again and listen to the full podcast in my car. It was pretty nice.
Because email standards are so nonexistent, there is no reliable way for us to embed an audio player in an email. That would be pretty awesome, maybe someday someone will figure out how to make it happen.

Hi Jason,
I figured it would be something like that. No worries about it all for me, the main goal is being served already.

Ha. I just re-read my comment and all its spelling mistakes. Lesson to all: just because you *can* comment on a post using your voice while moving at a very fast speed…. doesn’t mean you should. Especially without reviewing it before hitting send.

I am waiting for a dictation app to come out, yeah I know they exist but I want the one that never misunderstands what I say.
When I use the phone dictation it often comes out with a million errors so the time saved is lost in the land of corrections.

I like Postmatic as well. I don’t think it drives engagement for me, but people seem to like getting the emails, so I will hold a referendum when it comes time to pay. If they like it, and it isn’t too expensive, I will probably keep it. To me it doesn’t really matter whether it’s there or not, as my phone won’t let me reply to people’s comments. I will have to check the outgoing settings or something.
Please talk about the time that you went to get shampoo for crab lice, but went with rubbing alcohol instead, because it was so much cheaper.
Oh, wait. That was me.

Sounds like we need to get you a new phone. Maybe Verizon or Sprint want to help you out. Free phone for a review. 🙂
I have not received any complaints thus far so it seems to be working.
As for the shampoo, well I’m glad it was you and not me. 🙂
