A while back I wrote a post about why I think opposition to Gay Marriage is foolishness. I had thought of searching for the initial post, but I just don’t have the time to do so.
During a bathroom break in my building I overheard two men complaining about what the gay community is doing to the US and had to interrupt them. I won’t recount the entire conversation because it just makes my head hurt, but suffice it to say that they won’t spend time recruiting me to attend their church.
One of them was dumb enough to tell me that G-d hates gays. When I heard him say that I asked him to use the term that he was searching for. Because what he wanted to say was that “G-d hates faggots.”
I hate racists and bigots and who haven’t the balls to share their feelings in public. Because let’s be honest, if you are going to say that “G-d hates gays” you might as well go all the way.
It makes my skin crawl to even write this, but I had to share it.
And again I must add that I find nothing in gay marriage that is going to cause the breakdown of society. People already have sex with animals, cheat on their husbands/wives, beat them, molest children and or engage in any number of terrible acts.
So giving people who love each other the ability to try and sanctify their relationship is really going to be detrimental to society.
Oy, this argument is so stupid it just makes my head hurt.
