“I’m sittin’ in the railway station, got a ticket for my destination
On a tour of one-night-stands, my suitcase and guitar at hand
And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band”
Homeward Bound– Simon and Garfunkel
Traveling Jack is almost ready to hit the road. Going to make one more pass to make sure that I have grabbed all of my belongings, followed by checkout and the dash to the airport. Much as I dislike flying there are somethings that I still find enjoyable. The people watching never ceases to entertain me and I never get tired of reading Skymall magazine midflight.
Traveling brings out the best and worst in people. It can be a great experience or dreadful.  The hard part is maintaining a positive attitude even when the things that go wrong have nothing to do with you. In a few hours I’ll be back on a plane bound for home. With a little luck the row I sit in won’t be crowded and there will be some room to stretch my legs so that my knees don’t bang into the seat in front of me. With a little bit of luck I won’t have to share the armrest with a seat mate nor will passerbys use my shoulder as something to steady themselves as they walk on by. With a little bit of luck I’ll nap for two hours and wake up refreshed and ready to celebrate with family, it is  my mom’s birthday today.
And with that my friends I bid you adieu for now. Time to shut down the computer and disconnect for a while. Be good and be safe and if you can’t be good than just be safe.
-Jack
