I admit to being mildly surprised when I figured out the first audio post here was done around July 2004.

You’re welcome to click on the link so that you can visit the post and read the comments though the only person I expect to recognize anyone there is SQ.

Heck, just for kicks I dug around the archives to see if I could restore one of the old audio posts SQ and I did but I am not sure I am going to be able to restore it.

Why?

Because I don’t think I was hosting it and the file probably got deleted. But I may spend a few minutes there just for kicks to see if maybe I am wrong.

Would be kind of fun to hear it again, in the interim here is a new piece if you are interested in listening.

I just stumbled onto one of my old Audioblogging accounts. I had forgotten about it.

Spent a few minutes checking out a few of them and smiled, reminded me how I got into that nonsense before everyone and their mother had a podcast.

Yeah, some of it is unpolished and primitive, but it was kind of fun. It was a novel experience at that time and I probably could have turned into something bigger had I thought about it.

Had I a little vision maybe it would have been huge or maybe I would have bored the hell out of people. Don’t know and am not going to worry about it.

Sometimes I forget just how long I have been messing around with this stuff. Hell, there is stuff from around 2004, though I am not sure it is still accessible.

But it would be fun, got a few where The Shmata Queen performed with me.

Sometimes it is hard not to feel a little torn up and a little guilty even when you make decisions that you think will provide a better life.

Just for kicks we are posting another audiopost in which we talk about how my mother was right and I was wrong, glasses, money and age.

Good times for all.

Going to keep thinking about the whole podcast thing, but doing audio posts on and off since about 2004, maybe it is time to get more serious.
